Statewide Amber Alert Issued For 2 Children Canceled

A statewide Amber Alert issued after two children were allegedly abducted Tuesday night has been canceled. Police say the suspect has turned himself in and that the children were found safe. Original Amber Alert posted:
An Amber Alert has been issued for the State of Ohio after a six-year-old girl and her 9-year-old brother were abducted around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the suspect, Stephen Reese, assaulted their mother, drove them to a gravel pit, threw her out and threatened to kill both her and her children.
The suspect was last seen on South Bird Road in Springfield, Ohio in Clark County, northeast of Dayton, Ohio, driving a light green, four-door 2000 Honda Civic with Ohio license plate CZ4 6EL.
The six-year-old girl is described as a white female, with brown hair and brown eyes, about 3 feet tall, weighing 40 pounds. Police say she was last seen wearing an orange, purple and white 2-piece swimsuit with stars on it.
The nine-year-old boy is described as a white male, with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, about 4’5” tall, weighing 70 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing a dark blue swim suit, with light blue and white stripes down the side.
The suspect is described as a white male, 42-years-old, with brown hair, green eyes, a tattoo on his arm, facial hair, 5’10” tall, weighing about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue and red swim trunks and a red and white hat.
