Suspect Named In Walnut Hills Double Homicide

Cincinnati police are investigating a double homicide in Walnut Hills.

Police say two men were shot in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue near East Martin Luther King Drive just before 11 p.m. Friday night.

The victims have been identified as Kenneth Gaines, 48, and Mark Davenport, 51.

Both men were transported to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police used a K-9 unit to search the area but could not find any suspects.

On Sunday, homicide detectives signed a murder warrant for the arrest of Christopher Shaun Alexander for the homicides of Kenneth Gaines and Mark Davenport.

Alexander is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as a male black born 12/29/79, 6’0" tall, Weighing 190 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
