COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Columbus police say an 18-year-old teenager has been stabbed to death at an outdoor festival.

Police say Bryan Barbin was pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center shortly after midnight Sunday. Police say he was stabbed multiple times in the chest at ComFest, an annual summer festival held at a city park.

Doug Golding, who witnessed the fight, says Barbin was wrestling with another teen. He says the other teen apologized to Barbin immediately after the stabbing and then folded up a knife.

"It looked like they were messing around, until one guy went down," Golding says.

Columbus Police detective Jim Day says he was told the men were friends. Police say another teen was detained and questioned Saturday night, but no one has been charged in the stabbing.
