Good Morning, It's Friday November 6, 2009

HOT SHOT ON THE HARDWOOD
Lance Stephenson got the okay from the NCAA Thursday afternoon and got on the court as the UC Bearcats won an exhibition game game over Saginaw Valley State last night 86-58.  Stephenson had nine points and four rebounds.

HAWKBREAKER
Miami nearly went to Philadelphia and upset Temple, a team that's undefeated in the Mid-American Conference.  Miami scored 19 fourth quarter points to lead the Owls 32-31 with 2:36 to play.  But Temple drove the ball down the field and kicked a game-winning field goal with three seconds to play.  Temple wins 34-32

WHOOOO?
Yeah..that's the same Temple known for John Chaney and his great basketball teams and the alma mater of Bill Cosby.  The Owls won their seventh straight game. To give this some perspective, the Owls won a total of seven games from 2002 to 2005.

FIGHTING BACK
Mike Haywood's Miami team doesn't give up.  They trailed 21-3, and 31-13.  Still, the Hawks are 1-9, and 1-5 in the MAC.

CHIEFS EDGE CLONES
A former Cincinnati Cyclone, Greg Gallagher scored with 4:04 into the third period to give the Johnstown Chiefs a 4-3 win over Cincinnati. It was the first win of the year for Johnstown.

THROWBACK FRIDAY
The Cyclones are back home tonight to face Toledo. It's the annual Throwback night with seven dollar tickets and selected food items priced at just one dollar.
The team will wear the silver sheen jerseys from the 1990-91 season.

TICKETS..WHO WANTS TICKETS?
The Bengals say 3,000 tickets are still available for Sunday's game against the Ravens.  They have to sellout by 1 p.m today to avoid a local TV blackout.

A SPECIAL SATURDAY NIGHT
We're putting together a special pregame show for the UC-Connecticut game on Saturday. It will run at from 7-8 p.m, just prior to the kickoff at Nippert Stadium.

BUCKS TO BEARCATS
We'll be carrying the OSU-Penn State game at 3:30...and after our pregame show, UC will play the Huskies at 8 p.m.

HIGH SCHOOL HOOPLA
The high school football playoffs get underway tonight in Ohio and Kentucky. Tonight features the Divison II, III and V games in Ohio.  I really think Turpin, Winton Woods and Wyoming are worthy of strong runs.

MIDDIE MADNESS
We were at the Middletown community pep rally on Thursday night.  The Middies are in the playoffs for the first time since 1991.  They had some fun dumping a bunch of purple paint on the Police Chief.
That's because he went to Moeller, Middletown's first round opponent on Saturday night.

NOTRE DAME IN FINALS
The Pandas of Notre Dame Academy have advanced to the finals of the Kentucky Girls Soccer Tournament.  They beat Daviess County Thursday night 2-0 in Georgetown.  They'll play Louisville Sacred Heart in the championship game on Saturday night.

Hope you have a great weekend..
It should be great fun...
See you on TV
