2:37 p.m.--The UC Bearcats have surged ahead of Syracuse by three touchowns. Isaiah Pead ran 33 yards to the Orange four-yard line and then Zach Collaros threw a four-yard touchdown pass to tight end Adrien Robinson. It's 28-7 with 9:53 left in the fourth quarter.
2:16 p.m--Another turnover for Syracuse inside the UC ten yard line. The Orange ran the ball on a first and goal at the seven, but Drew Frey of UC forced a fumble and Derek Wolfe made the recovery at the ten. UC is back in possession. About 2 minutes left in the third quarter, it's 21-7 UC
1:54 p.m.--The UC Bearcats have increased their lead early in the third quarter at Syracuse. Zach Collaros has hit Armon Binns with another touchcown pass. 12:15 to go in the third quarter, UC now leads 21-7. The drive went 60 yards. The touchdown play covered the last 13.
1:23 p.m.--The UC Bearcats have failed to pick up some big points in the late stages of the first half. Jacob Rogers has just missed a 43-yard field goal attempt as time expired in the second quarter. It appeared to be long enough, but it was wide to the left.
The teams head to the locker room, UC has the lead 14-7.
1:20 p.m.--A big play for the UC defense late in the first half. Syracuse had advanced the ball to the UC-seven yard line. But Greg Paulus' pass into the endzone was picked off by Drew Frey, the redshirt freshman out of Clinton-Massie. There's about :40 to go in the first half, 14-7 UC.
12:49 p.m--Jacob Rodgers attempted a field goal early in the second half, but the snap was mishandled and UC scored a touchdown instead. Zach Collaros was the holder and he threw the 16-yard touchdown pass to Kazeem Ali. UC leads 14-7 at 14:11 of the second quarter.
12:37 p.m.--They've played one quarter at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. UC and Syracuse are tied at seven. UC has possession of the football at the Orange 14-yard line when the second quarter gets underway.
12:30 p.m.--Syracuse has rallied back to tie Cincinnati. Greg Paulus threw nine yards to Cody Catalina for a touchdown. The Orange went 75 yards in six plays. It took 3:11. About three minutes left in the first quarter, it's tied at seven.
12:17 p.m.--Syracuse wanted to slow down the UC Bearcats. They wanted to make them string out their offensive drives. It didn't work the first time UC got the ball. The Bearcats went 80 yards in three plays. It took less than two minutes. Zach Collaros threw an 81 yard touchdown pass to Armon Binns.
