CINCINNATI -- If you plan on attending a University of Cincinnati football game at Nippert Stadium this season, you will most likely have to pay more for your ticket.

The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics announced Wednesday that tickets to the upcoming home football games against Connecticut on November 7 and Illinois on November 27 have sold out.

The November 13 tilt against West Virginia sold out earlier this season.

“There is nothing like the environment of Nippert Stadium,” head coach Brian Kelly said. “I am excited that once again our fans have answered the call to Come Early, Be Loud and Wear Black. Our season has gotten off to a great start, including wins in five road games. To be able to come home for three straight contests during the stretch run of the BIG EAST Championship chase will be a welcome sight for our team. We represent Cincinnati on and off the field and look forward to getting back out there this Saturday night against UConn and making our City proud.”

The undefeated Bearcats (8-0, 4-0 Big East) will host the Huskies (4-4, 1-3 Big East) this Saturday in one of three games featured on ABC.

Before the teams kickoff at 8 p.m., Channel 9 will broadcast a special one-hour pregame show at 7 p.m. The show will include in-depth interviews, analysis on UC's national championship hopes, and what the nationally televised game means to the university.

"With four sellout crowds this season the Cincinnati community has left no doubt that they are behind our student-athletes, coaches, and the University as a whole,” Thomas said. “It’s a great time to be a Bearcat and I look forward to seeing Nippert Stadium filled with excitement with three big games here in November," said UC Director of Athletics Mike Thomas.

The Bearcats are currently ranked 5th in the BCS standings and 4th in the Associated Press Poll Top 25.

UC ends the regular season at Pittsburgh on Saturday, December 5.

The school also said due to record demand for season tickets, they have begun taking $50 deposits for the 2010 football season tickets. The deposits can be made online at catstix.com.

Along with being guaranteed a 2010 season ticket, fans who purchase the deposits will also be placed in the priority system for eligibility to purchase 2009 bowl game tickets for the upcoming postseason.

Current 2009 season ticket holders do not need to purchase deposits they are already first-rite of renewal on their 2010 season tickets as well as credits for 2009 bowl tickets.
