A sold out game at Nippert Stadium Saturday made for excited fans and players during the game.
Yet another strong showing and victory for the Bearcats made John Els' decision to skip the Ohio State game for U.C. a good call.
"This is a tremendous atmosphere. Probably the best atmosphere of a football game I've ever been at," Els said.
Even those serving our country took time to reflect on how cool it is to watch the undefeated Bearcats from the field.
"Oh I'm loving it right now. It's great to be out here with a great group of students. Student corp, representing for them as well," said Kenneth Washington, a U.C. student and member of the Air Force.
And what's a Cincinnati sporting event without Bootsy Collins?
"I mean U.C. the fans, I mean this is awesome. We down here on the field having a great time, and they winning...haha," Collins said.
The Bearcats went on to win Saturday's game.
