BATAVIA, Ohio -- Veterans from across the Tri-State were honored Wednesday.
A permanent honor is in place in Batavia Township.
A 21-gun salute honored those who lost their lives in combat during a service at the dedication of the Veterans Memorial Plaza.
The plaza features a Humvee donated by BAE Systems, and flags for each branch of service.
Songs were performed along with a duet of taps.
The plaza is next to the Batavia Township Community Center on Clough Pike.
