14-year-old Cole Schlesner struck in head by baseball.
“At first he was conscious, he knew where he was,” said Pitt.  “After about three or four minutes we took him to the dugout. That's where he collapsed.”

On Tuesday night hundreds gathered for a candlelight vigil behind Loveland Middle School. They prayed for a speedy recovery and for Schlesner's family.

"I'm scared, but my mom and dad, they're telling me to think positive," said Blake Schlesner, Cole's younger brother.

"That's what I'm doing because I know it will be okay because he's always been a great brother to me," said Schlesner.

Scott Schlesner, Cole's father, told his son's team that he is cautiously optimistic about his son's condition.

The fourteen-year-old has movement in all of his extremities and squeezed the hand of his grandmother.
