With three major storms posing threats to American families, the potential for a huge strain on services for storm victims continues.
WCPO 9News has teamed up with the local chapter of the American Red Cross to raise money for hurricane victims.
Already thousands of dollars have been raised though a phone bank held at WCPO studios this Friday.
Money raised will go to relief to people affected by hurricanes and tropical storms expected to hit the U.S. in the next few weeks.

Donations made by you will help those affected by 2008 hurricanes and tropical storms with:
- Emergency shelter, food and clothing
- Clean Kits as clients return home
- Food and water to affected areas delivered by Emergency Response Vehicles
- Cover the cost of training and deploying Red Cross volunteers
