BROWN COUNTY, Ohio -- A woman is dead after her car crashed into a semi in Brown County around 1:24 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Investigators say Joan Green, 44, of Fayetteville, Ohio, was driving eastbound on US 50 in Perry Township when she went left of center and struck the oncoming semi.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck, Julio Cesar Salazar, 41, of Alamo, Texas, was not injured.
Police temporarily closed US 50 between Marathon and Fayetteville.
The accident remains under investigation.
