Forecast: Rainy Day Monday

Last Update: 4:13 am

A broad area of low pressure is spinning through the region and will bring us cool, unsettled conditions today. Periods of rain showers will linger into early tomorrow before calmer, spring-like weather returns.

Prepare to get wet at times today as scattered rain showers pepper the Ohio Valley. Some of the heaviest rain occurred last night but we'll continue to get some scattered showers today. Cloudy skies and breezy conditions will keep temperatures down hovering in the 40s through the afternoon.

Scattered rain showers will linger tonight and it will be getting cooler. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s and we should see just rain but a couple of wet snowflakes are not impossible.

Still a chance of a leftover showers tomorrow morning but some clearing is expected by the afternoon. High temperatures will reflect how much sun we actually get. I'm calling for a high in the middle 50s but upper 50s are possible if the sun is a little more plentiful.

Wednesday is looking good with some welcome sunshine and high temperatures near 60 degrees. A chance of rain returns late Thursday and into early Friday.

Right now the weekend looks to start off pleasantly with a chance of rain by late Sunday. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s.
