Forecast: Ramping Up For Spring!

As Spring approaches Mother Nature is offering up some very pleasant conditions the next few days. When Spring officially begins on Saturday we'll notice some changes that include some cooler temperatures.

The final two days of this work week are going to be nothing short of fantastic. Today will be mostly sunny with temperatures climbing into the middle 60s. Fair skies continue overnight and it will get comfortably cool as lows dip into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees.

More sunshine will splash the region tomorrow and it will warm up well into the 60s again.

Spring officially begins on Saturday and it won't be a bad day but the chance of some rain returns. We may start with some sunshine but clouds will increase and there's a chance for showers and a few thunderstorms by late afternoon and into the evening. It will still be mild with highs in the 60s.

The front sweeps through the area Saturday night and Sunday with periods of rain showers and cooler temperatures. Highs on Sunday will fall to near 50 degrees and it will be breezy.

A quick update on the Ohio River. It has crested and is slowly falling. As of this morning it sits at 50 feet - two feet below flood stage.
