Norris' Forecast: A Soaking Rain

Last Update: 4:22 pm

Our beautiful weather over the past few days is coming to an end.  A winter storm over the Southern Plains is headed toward the Tri-State, but unlike Dallas and Chicago, we will dodge the snow.

Skies will be mostly cloudy for your Sunday with just a few peeks of sun.
There were some spotty showers earlier across our western counties, but dry weather prevails until later today.

Ahead of the low, showers and thunderstorms begin to push in from the southwest late this afternoon into this evening.  As the low works its way into the Ohio Valley, the chance for rain will linger through the day on Monday into early Tuesday.

This will be our last mild day before cold weather descends on the Tri-State Monday.  Highs today climb in the mid 60s before plunging back to the upper 40s Monday.  The sunshine returns Tuesday afternoon and stays through the first part of Thursday.  Temperatures rebound into the upper 50s Tuesday and the low 60s by Wednesday and Thursday.

Another storm brushes the area Thursday night and Friday bringing a chance of rain.  We will be on the northern edge of this one, so the heaviest rain will stay to the south.  Temperatures drop off behind it into the mid 50s for Friday and Saturday.
