Earlier in the day, the FAA issued a Traffic Management Program for arriving flights into Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Wednesday.
The program is in effect due to high winds and inclement weather around the airport.
A high-wind advisory remains in effect for the entire Tri-State area until 1 a.m. Thursday.
The alert was causing flights arriving at the airport to experience an average delay of 28 minutes.
