With Whitney Houston’s death coming just a day before the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, the show paid tribute to the legendary performer Sunday night.
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson performed Houston’s classic song from "The Bodyguard" soundtrack, "I Will Always Love You."
Host LL Cool J led a prayer for Houston in the show’s opening moments.
Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder also praised Houston on stage.
Houston earned six Grammys in her career and won the most awards of any female artist all-time, according to Guinness World Records.
