CINCINNATI - A new game show will be hosting an open casting call in Cincinnati to find contestants from the Tri-State.
“Let’s Ask America” producers will be at Fountain Square on Thursday, Aug. 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., prior to Salsa on the Square.
Casting producers are looking for charismatic and opinionated participants, ages 18 years and older, who want the chance to win cash from the comfort of their own home.
The game show’s host, Kevin Pereira -- known for his quick wit -- will be on site to meet and greet applicants.
The new daily, half-hour game show will debut on WCPO Monday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The game is simple; it polls America about fun and irreverent topics to find out what people are thinking (e.g. Which of these shows did a group of bikers say they'd choose to watch for an entire year? a) "Dr. Phil," b) "Days of Our Lives," c) "The View"). Then, all the contestants have to do is correctly predict the answer. The prize money increases with each question. There are three rounds and at the end of each round, the contestant with the lowest cash total is eliminated from the game. In the final round, the last remaining contestant can wager all or part of their winnings on the big "question of the day."
