They don't call her the "Material Girl" for nothing.

Madonna has rolled out her 2012 World Tour, and coming after a super Super Bowl appearance, tickets are expected to sell fast, and at very high prices.

Think $300 is a lot of money for good concert seats? Not according to Madonna, who told Newsweek "people spend $300 on crazy things all the time, like handbags."

Luckily, not all the seats to her shows will be priced so high, but don't expect any bargains. And you should expect them to sell fast.

Want to go?  details...

Tickets go on sale in early March for her concert Saturday Nov. 10, 2012 in Cleveland, her closest stop to Cincinnati.  The next closest stop is Chicago on Wednesday Sept. 19.

No ticket prices have been announced yet, but ticket prices listed for her earlier St. Louis show range from $50 for nosebleeds to $375 near the stage. That does not include Ticketmaster fees.

Madonna told Newsweek "save your pennies. I'm worth it."

No one ever accused Madonna of modesty, when it comes to fashion or what she thinks of herself.

The Material Girl makes a good point, though: Her fans spend $300 on purses, so why not on her concert?

Whatever you decide to do, don't waste your money.
