MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Two Kentucky men who say they were sexually assaulted by comedian Andy Dick at a West Virginia nightclub in 2010 have filed a civil lawsuit seeking unspecified damages.
The 26-year-old from Ashland and 35-year-old from Catlettsburg are also involved in a criminal case. Dick's trial on two counts of felony first-degree sexual abuse is set for May 1 in Cabell County Circuit Court.
Dick has pleaded not guilty to charges he grabbed a bouncer's crotch, and groped and kissed a patron while in town for shows at a comedy club in Huntington. The acts allegedly occurred at another establishment.
Dick's attorney, Marc Williams, tells the Herald-Dispatch the lawsuit is just an attempt to get money from a celebrity.
