VERONA, Ky. - Two Canadian men are facing charges for possessing credit/debit card 'skimmers' after they were pulled over in Verona, Ky.

A Boone County sheriff's deputy stopped Erdem Sarikus, 25, and Mehmet Gun, 32, for speeding on I-71 Monday afternoon. After speaking with both men, the deputy detected certain inconsistencies in their stories, according to the sheriff's office.

The deputy then discovered two credit card readers, a cable used for downloading information and double-sided tape that was used to adhere the device to the front of an ATM.

Both men were charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and taken to the Boone County Detention Center.
