ALEXANDRIA, Ky. - Alexandria’s current mayor, Dan McGinley, will run for re-election this fall.

McGinley has been the mayor of Alexandria for the past 12 years and has the support of four former mayors and current Campbell County Judge-Executive Steve Pendery.

McGinley’s tenure as mayor has included the purchase of a city building and community center, the construction of a new public works facility and more than $5 million in investments in street reconstruction and repair.

“The reasons to live and work in Alexandria have continued to grow since I first became mayor,” McGinley said in a release announcing his re-election plans.
