FLORENCE, Ky. - Two courses to help employers understand and comply with new Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations will be offered at Gateway Community and Technical College this fall.
The courses will include information on various OSHA requirements and a review of penalties for failure to comply with regulations.
The 10-hour general industry training course is aimed at entry-level workers. The course will be from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23.
The 30-hour course is intended for safety directors, foremen and supervisors. The course will be offered from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. from Oct. 25 until Oct. 29.
Both courses will be held in the Classroom and Training Building at Gateway’s Boone Campus.
