The lottery's Powerball game hit the fifth largest jackpot in game history Friday.
No one hit the jackpot Thursday night, so the top prize is now $310 million for Saturday night's drawing.
Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Arch Gleason said recent changes to the Powerball game have helped move the cash prize to higher levels. The lottery recently raised the ticket price for the game to $2.
Powerball players can purchase tickets for the huge jackpot until 9:58 p.m. Saturday.
The odds of winning $310 million dollars on Saturday are one in 175,223,510.
