Man charged with rape after allegedly having sex with teen at party

BURLINGTON, Ky. - Authorities have made an arrest in connection to the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl from Northern Kentucky.

Joshua Crosthwaite, 29, was arrested at his Lexington, Ky. home on Friday by Boone County Sheriff's detectives and agents from the U.S. Marshal's office.

Investigators say Crosthwaite had sex with the Florence teen during a party at his friend's home in Union, Ky. on Nov. 25, 2011. He then provided the teen with 'morning after' pills the next day, according to the sheriff's office.

Crosthwaite is charged with rape, sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor. He was brought back to Northern Kentucky and is currently at the Boone County Detention Center.
