In a statement announcing the ‘McWeddings,’ a McDonald’s spokesman said the ceremonies will “provide an interesting choice for couples who enjoy special wedding concepts.”
To help garner some momentum for the idea, McDonald’s held a special wedding party earlier this month, complete with French fry kisses, toasts with the couples’ favorite soft drinks, McDonald’s apple pie wedding cakes and a balloon fashion show.

Whether you share your vows at Mickey D’s, or just celebrate an engagement or anniversary, McDonald’s will provide party hosts the venue, McDonald’s food, gifts for couples, gifts for guests, venue decoration, audio system and a Master of Ceremony.
