Police: 2-year-old drowns in baptismal pool

INDIANAPOLIS - A 2-year-old boy drowned Wednesday in a baptismal pool at a church on Indianapolis' northwest side, police said.
Officers were called to the Praise Fellowship Assembly of God at 6700 N. Michigan Road just before 2 p.m.
Police said the child was taken to a nearby hospital. He was attending day care inside the church at the time.
No other information has been released at this time.
