EDGEWOOD, Ky. - Dr. Gregory L., Taliaferro, 48, of Edgewood, Ky. died Friday, July 23 at his home.
He was in private practice with Cincinnati Center for Psychoanalysis Inc., worked as a rehabilitation psychologist with Christ Hospital Acute Impatient Rehabilitation Unit and was co-chairman of the APA Task Force on Guidelines for Assessment and Treatment of Persons with Disabilities with the American Psychological Association. He also co-chaired the development of Guidelines for Assessment of and intervention with individuals who have disabilities. He was a part of the hand transplant team at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was a member of the American Psychological Association, Psi Chi and the National Honor Society in Psychology.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Leonard Taliaferro of Edgewood, Ky.; father, Philip Taliaferro of Erlanger, Ky.; sister, Gina Lofquist of Oakwood, Ohio, Laura Conant of Sylvania, Ohio, Morgan Taliaferro of Louisville, Ky.; brother, Philip Taliaferro of Erlanger, Ky.; friend, Sharon Allen of Bardstown, Ky.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1 at Marquise Banquet Center at 1016 Town Drive in Wilder, Ky. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1.
