12 die on Kentucky roadways

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Twelve people died in 12 separate car crashes on Kentucky roadways in the week period from Monday, Jan. 30, through Sunday, Feb. 5, the Kentucky State Police report.
Six of the victims were not wearing seat belts. The alcohol use was suspected in one fatality.
Through Feb. 5, a total of 63 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2012.
Citizens can contribute to highway safety by reporting erratic drivers to the Kentucky State Police toll-free at 1 (800) 222-5555.
