PADUCAH, Ky. - A call for an ambulance because of heart attack symptoms has resulted in five methamphetamine arrests in western Kentucky.
McCracken County Sheriff's officials said the heart attack call came in Monday night and was followed moments later by another call alleging meth manufacturing at the same address.
Detective Sgt. Jesse Riddle said deputies saw a man running as they pulled up and saw meth and marijuana in plain view when they looked into the house.
Following noises coming from the attic, deputies found a suspect and meth ingredients, according to The Paducah Sun.
Deputies found three small meth labs in a laundry basket and more meth ingredients concealed in shrubbery outside the house.
Authorities said four of the five suspects are on probation or parole for previous felony arrests.
