ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. -  Police say burglars have hit five churches in Hardin County, taking several pieces of electronic equipment.

Among the items taken were PA systems, computers, camera equipment, a TV and guitars, The News-Enterprise reported.

One church, Gloryland Harvest, said it had security equipment installed, but the burglar took that too.

Connie Adkins, treasurer at Needham Cumberland Presbyterian Church, said if the person who broke into the church had asked for help, the church would have responded. But she says that breaking into a church is "despicable."

Police are investigating, but no arrests have been made.
