LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Lexington church is taking action after being hit again by thieves.

Mo Spurlock, the trustee chairman of Christ Centered Church told WKYT-TV that security cameras are being installed, as well as an additional lighting system in the parking lot, which will remain on overnight.

Spurlock says thieves have targeted the church eight times in the last five years. During the last incident, which happened this month, a catalytic converter was taken from a church van.

Church members say they think the facility has been a target because of its secluded location.
