GREENVILLE, Ky. - A third person has been charged in the death of a 4-year-old girl in 1999.
The Messenger-Inquirer reports 38-year-old Bobby F. Napier is charged with murder, arson, assault and being a persistent felony offender in connection to the death of 4-year-old Autumn Michelle Raymond. The girl died four days after a blaze at her Ohio County home in which two of her siblings were injured.
The girl's mother, 47-year-old Virginia Whitfield of Greenville and a family acquaintance, 52-year-old Tony Lear of Owensboro, were also charged with murder, arson and assault.
Police say the charges come after new evidence was discovered.
Napier is currently serving time in prison on unrelated burglary charges.
