Two men plead not guilty in 2010 deaths

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Two men pleaded not guilty in the deaths of a Richmond couple in 2010.
Arraigned Wednesday in Madison County Circuit Court were 27-year-old Matthew Denholm of Berea and 26-year-old Daniel Keene of Richmond. They were indicted in May on charges of kidnapping and murder in the deaths of 30-year-old Sonsaray Warford and 30-year-old Charles Walker.
Commonwealth's Attorney David Smith told the Lexington Herald-Leader that he hasn't decided whether to pursue the death penalty. Denholm and Keene are also charged with burglary, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
The bodies were found in March.
