MURRAY, Ky. - A former Calloway County District Judge has pleaded guilty to first offense operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Jeanne Carroll, who served on the bench from 2003 through 2007, entered the plea Friday. The Murray Ledger & Times reported that Carroll was arrested on the Murray State University campus on Oct. 2 and charged with DUI.
Her attorney, Rick Lamkin, released a statement from Carroll taking responsibility for the arrest and apologizing to her supporter.
Carroll resigned last Monday from her position as alcohol education coordinator with the Calloway County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention.
