LONDON, Ky. - State police have charged a Kentucky National Guardsman in connection with thefts at an armory in London.

Kentucky State Police spokesman Don Trosper told The Times-Tribune that 32-year-old Christopher L. Bunch was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 after a two-month investigation into missing items at the facility.

Trosper said police think Bunch took several items from the armory over a two-year period and sold them.

WKYT-TV reports that Bunch is a sergeant and one of five full-time employees at the armory that serves 120 soldiers.

Bunch declined to talk on camera to the station, but told them off-camera that police need to "dig deeper" in their investigation.
