LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville Metro Police say an off-duty officer shot and wounded a man.
The incident occurred shortly before midnight Tuesday and WLKY-TV reported the officer was not on duty.
A police spokesperson said the officer was in an unmarked car and got into an altercation with a man in another vehicle. The victim was shot in the lower body and his wound was not believed to be life-threatening.
An investigation is under way.
