PIKEVILLE, Ky. - An eastern Kentucky man has pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute at least 100 kilograms of marijuana in Pike and Floyd counties.
U.S. District Judge Amul Thapar must approve the 10-year sentence between 43-year-old John "Johnny Boy" Hall of Wheelwright and federal prosecutors. Hall entered the plea Thursday in federal court in Pikeville.
Hall admitted that he received between 220 and 880 pounds of marijuana from January 2009 until December of 2010.
Hall agreed to a prison sentence of 10 years. He has a previous drug felony conviction that subjected him to a higher sentence.
Hall is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
