Man sentenced in shooting death of teen outside nightclub

LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Lexington man has been sentenced to 15 years prison in the shooting death of a teenager outside a downtown nightclub last year.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports 32-year-old Robert Louis Benton was sentenced Thursday.
Benton had pleaded guilty last month to first-degree manslaughter in the killing of 19-year-old Brian Carr on May 1, 2011. Carr was shot three times in the back outside an establishment called Bar Lexington.
