LEXINGTON, Ky. - Lexington police say one man is dead after a shooting in the parking lot of a nursing home in what officials said was a domestic-related incident involving an employee.

Police are looking for the shooter. Police Lt. Scott Blakely told the Lexington Herald-Leader that he didn't have a description.

Blakely said no residents in the 150-bed Northpoint/Lexington Healthcare Center were injured.

He said three people who knew each other were meeting in the parking lot Tuesday afternoon, but he didn't have details.

The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at 2:35 p.m. EDT at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, about a half-hour after the shooting was reported. The man's name hasn't been released, pending notification of family.

A nursing home official declined to comment.
