HINDMAN, Ky. - Kentucky State Police say a man subdued while trying to rob a check-cashing business was returning for a repeat performance.

Police say 39-year-old Eric L. King of Leburn was arrested Friday at Ameri-Cash in Hindman, where police say an employee called police to report an armed robbery. Police say King was disarmed and subdued by a citizen until law enforcement arrived.

After further investigation, police also charged King with the Dec. 18th armed robbery of the same business.

Police say King is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
