Woman's body found on roadway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A woman's body has been found on a roadway in Louisville police are conducting a death investigation.

MetroSafe dispatch told WAVE-TV that the body was reported on New Cut Road at the Gene Snyder Freeway at around 5:30 Tuesday morning.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate, but police haven't said yet whether they suspect foul play.
