ALBANY, Ky. - Kentucky State Police say two southern Kentucky brothers accused of killing a 73-year-old man have been taken into custody.

Police say the brothers — 33-year-old Phillip M. Roberts and 38-year-old Thomas A. Roberts, both of Albany in Clinton County — turned themselves in Friday evening. Police had issued warrants for their arrest earlier that day and said they were looking for the men in the slaying of James F. Perdue, who was found dead Wednesday at his rural Clinton County home.

Police have declined to release details in Purdue's death.

It was unclear Saturday whether the brothers have attorneys.
