LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Lexington woman who claims she accidentally set her apartment on fire while sleepwalking has been charged with first-degree arson and attempted murder.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that the fire broke out about 1 a.m. on Sept. 13 in the apartment where 41-year-old Lamonica Anganette Hill and her son were living. Hill initially told firefighters she was sleepwalking and had a dream about grilling.

But fire department officials say investigators found evidence that contradicted her story and indicated the fire was intentionally set.

Hill was arrested Monday without incident and was being held in the Fayette County jail.
