1 killed in Mt. Airy crash on Colerain Avenue

CINCINNATI - A person was killed after a two-vehicle crash on Colerain Avenue near Mt. Airy Forest.
The accident happened when an SUV and a white van collided around 12:30 p.m. on Colerain Avenue near Raeburn Drive.
Two people were reportedly trapped in the vehicles involved in the accident when emergency crews arrived on the scene. The coroner responded to the scene and confirmed that one person was dead.
The deceased has not yet been identified.
Police say a child who was in a wheelchair was transported from the crash to Children's Hospital with minor injuries.
Police shut down Colerain Avenue in both directions as a result of the crash. They have not released how long the road will be shut down for.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
