Police: Driver overdoses on heroin, crashes car near park

SYCAMORE TWP., Ohio - Police say a driver who allegedly overdosed on heroin crashed his car Tuesday near a popular park.

Hamilton County deputies arrested John Jordan III, 33, of Cincinnati, on Tuesday morning on Sycamore Road near Bechtold Park. Jordan was found to be unconscious after driving into the grass there.

Jordan was taken to Jewish Hospital for treatment, and was later jailed at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a felony count of drug possession.

Deputies say a baggie of heroin, a needle and a spoon were found in his Chevrolet Cavalier.

Jordan remembered very little of the incident but did admit to using heroin, according to court paperwork.
