CINCINNATI - One man has died from injuries he sustained in a weekend boat crash.

Jeff Foster died Monday at University Hospital after he and one other person were injured in a two-boat collision on the Ohio River at Sedamsville at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday.

The operator of the other boat reportedly fled the scene of the crash but later turned himself in to police on Monday with an attorney present.

Both vessels involved in the crash are classified as speed boats. Foster reportedly was ejected from the boat upon impact and sustained severe head trauma.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has not released the names of any victims besides Foster.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed that it is in possession of Foster’s body and has scheduled an autopsy, though the results of the procedure might not be available for some time.
