Moms charged after children found alone at hotel

SHARONVILLE, Ohio - Two mothers are behind bars after leaving their children alone at a Sharonville hotel Sunday.

Police were dispatched to the Holiday Inn on Hauck Road after a hotel guest found four small children alone in the hallway of the 11th floor at about 12:45 a.m.

Children’s Services was called to the scene after authorities were unable to locate the parents of the children.

Investigators say around 3 a.m., 25-year-old Amber McMillan and 23-year-old Caitlin Cozzy returned to the hotel with their boyfriends.

McMillan and Cozzy were arrested and charged with child endangering.

The children ages 1, 2, 4 and 5 were all placed into protective custody by Children’s Services.
