Officials seek suspect in Clermont Co. home invasion

JACKSON TWP, Ohio - Officials continue to investigate a Clermont County home invasion on Monday.
Residents of the home in the 4500 block of Water Dance Drive in Jackson Township called 911 when a suspect attempted to enter the residence around 7 a.m. The suspect tried to force entry into the house and shots were fired, according to AJ Rodenberg with the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.
The homeowners locked themselves in an upstairs room of the house and reported to dispatchers the suspect was in the downstairs of the house. When officials responded, the suspect or suspects had already fled the scene.
No one was injured during the invasion.
Clermont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the home invasion and looking for leads.
