Police investigate dead body found in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Ohio - A man was found dead in a Fairfield creek Thursday morning and police are working to determine was led to his death.
Officials say the body of a white male was found in a creek bed near 5001 Pleasant Avenue at about 8:15 a.m. The creek is in the Creekside Village Apartments.
Officials have not released information about what caused the death or the identity of the man found dead.
The Butler County Coroner’s Office is at the scene.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
