CINCINNATI - Police are searching for three men in connection with an apparent home invasion in Westwood that resulted in one woman being shot.
Cincinnati District 3 police are reporting two intruders broke into a Westwood residence located at 3277 Lakeview Street Thursday night.
Police believe a third man they are searching for served as the getaway driver.
Police have indicated that Brittany Short was shot in the back by one of the intruders. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Officers are currently searching for three black men who are believed to have fled the scene of the crime in a maroon Pontiac, police said.
Police described one of the intruder suspects as an adult black male who stands approximately 6-foot-1 with an average build and was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt. The other intruder suspect was described by police as a heavyset black male.
A description of the alleged driver was not made available.
